NEVIS CYCLE & TRIATHLON CLUB

The St Kitts and Nevis cycling federation team that consits of the 2009 National Champions Reggie Douglas and Kathryn Bertine, joining them will be newly crowned National Triathlon Champion James Weekes, are heading off to Aguascalientes in Mexico for the 2010 Pan Am Cycling Championships.

Reggie and james have recently returned from an intensive training program in Tucson under the tutelage of Carmichael Training Sytems (CTS) and their coaching staff, Kathryn is cyurrently racing the 'SRAM Tour of The Gila' alongside the likes of Lance Armstrong, Levis Leipheimer to name but two.

This should give our athlees the best preparation they can get before taking on the combined cycling might of South & North America and the Caribbean, they will be competing in both the Individual Time Trial (TTT) and a 149km Road Race.

The athletes specially wish to thank the NIA for their invaluable asistance in getting them to this most prestigious event for the very first time.
