Swim, Bike and Run to Nisbet Plantation for Nevis Triathlon Challenge
Special rate and incentive for participants
NEVIS, West Indies — Nisbet Plantation is making the Nevis Triathlon more affordable and interesting for participants traveling to the Caribbean for the March 21 event.
The beachfront plantation inn is offering a special discounted rate for registered participants. Those who take advantage of the rate will also be challenged to a race by Nisbet Plantation General Manager.
Triathlon participants staying at the hotel who finish ahead of General Manager Jamie Holmes will receive a bottle of wine with his compliments. Those who don’t? They still get a great rate at one of the Caribbean’s top hotels.
Whether it’s the Olympic distance, Sprint distance or “Trying a tri” events, registered participants will receive special discounted rates in Nisbet Plantation’s cottage-style accommodations. Daily rates begin at $175 for a Superior room and include ocean side breakfast.
Before the race, train and get familiar with the course with defending OECS (Organization of Eastern Caribbean States) champion, Reggie Douglas, often on site with Nisbet Plantation water sports. Participants can fuel up for the triathlon with a special menu full of “carbs” the night before the race at Nisbet Plantation’s AAA Four Diamond-rated Great House. Bike rentals are available through Nisbet Plantation, but please request in advance.
After the big event, rest on the white-sand beach of Nisbet Plantation or recuperate with a massage at the hotel’s Palms Spa.
Nisbet Plantation blends old-world Caribbean charm with modern-day amenities such as free Wi-Fi, free hiker GPS to track excursions, free Flip video cameras to capture vacation moments, and Vespa scooters to zip around. Hailed as one of the Caribbean’s best hotels, Nisbet Plantation treats guests with warm Nevisian hospitality and exceptional personal service.
