NEVIS CYCLE & TRIATHLON CLUB

Team Nevis member Sarah Petre-Mears has just recieved the news hat she has obtained a spot in the New York Marathon, that epic event that has a field of 36,000 athletes, an over- joyed Sarah was able to recognise that she had a lot of training to do. It is hard to believe that in just over a year, she has learnt how to run, bike and swim competently enough to run a half-marathon race, win her first mini-tri event, enter and complete two sprint events and run around the island of Nevis, a distance of 20 miles. So it will come as no surprise to find her beating her goal time of under 5 hours in New York, all of her team mates congratulate her, will train with her and wish her all the success she deserves.
